Burswood Peninsula Tower 1

The peninsula apartment development is a Mirvac apartment development overlooking the Swan River at Burswood, consisting of a number of apartment towers and low rise apartments and town houses.

Commercial Pipe Installation involvement on the project was on Tower 1 on the installation of a loop cooling water system serving air conditioning units in the apartments which are served by from a heat exchanger, cooling tower and boiler plant located on level 17 & 18.

Lakeside Shopping Centre

Lakeside Pipe Installation

The existing shopping centre has undergone an extensive upgrade. Located in the heart of Joondalup, this project comprises a major expansion to the existing Lakeside Joondalup Shopping City. The expansion of Lakeside is a two storey extension comprising of an additional 29,000 square meters of retail and office floor space, with with the addition of a Big W Department Store, an IGA Supermarket and 100 new specialty shops.

Commercial Pipe Installation involvement on the project was to install condenser, chilled & heating water pipework from an ungraded chiller / cooling tower plant and a new boiler plant, to serve the new specialty shops, food court and malls/

HBF House

HBF Health Fund’s office building in Murray Street, Perth underwent a total refurbishment of the air conditioning systems, while still functioning as an operational office building without affecting the client’s staff and operation of the business. A new chiller and boiler plant was installed with new pipe riser and AHU plants installed on a floor by floor basis.

Commercial Pipe Installation’s involvement on the project was to install new chilled & heating water pipework.

CSIRO Waterford

At CSIRO Waterford the project consisted of an expansion and extension to the existing Koch and Becher Buildings. Works included a three-storey extension to the Koch Building, new administration wing, extensive laboratory fit out and re-configuration and the construction of a link bridge between the two buildings.

Commercial Pipe Installation’s role in the expansion was installing new chillers and associated pumps for CCW and chilled water. Our team also worked on the Laboratory gases including vacuum, compressed air, nitrogen, CO2, argon and oxygen.

Submarine Facility, Henderson

The state-of-the-art facility represents a consolidation of all Western Australian submarine maintenance and upgrade activities.

Our team’s role on the project was the installation of industrial gases including L.P.G., argon, oxygen and compressed air





Curtin University, Bentley Campus

Central Park, Perth

Central Park Pipe Installation

Alex was involved with the original air conditioning installation at the time Central Park was being constructed in 1990. At this time Matthew Hall Pty. Ltd was the contractor on site and Alex’s role was as a site supervisor.

After the completion of construction Alex has been involved with general maintenance on the air conditioning systems firstly with Matthew Hall and Otis and at present supporting CMS services with the larger pipework projects.



PWCS Stackers

PWCS Stackers Pipe Installation

Working with Firemain Co., Commercial Pipe Installation installed the fire hydrant and deluge pipework systems on two stackers that were fabricated by ThyssenKrupp in Henderson WA and transported by ship to Newcastle in NSW for the movement of coal at the harbour.
